What is the Livewire? Great question. It is awesome, we know that much. It is also super fun, easy to ride and incredibly efficient. Livewire is better than any gas powered bike for a few reasons. First, the operating costs are really low, and can be compared with a scooter for per-km cost. You’ll pay roughly $2.50 to fill the Livewire at home with the included charge cord on 110v. This gives you about 200km in the city, and 140km on the highway. Livewire gives you two options for charging, level 1 and DV Fast charge at 25kW. You’ll really like the ABS braking system by Brembo, and you’ll find the bike’s traction control to be a life-saver in winter. Commuting on this bike is a dream come true. Let’s face it, fuelling up on a bike sucks. Charging a bike at home is awesome.
